I have been saying for sometime that social media is inherently in-human, so when projects integrate human interaction and real world actions with social media I get very excited.
Whilst this is a simple idea, the guys at we are social paris have put their very own brand of showbiz over it and made it into something quite cool.
To highlight BNP’s sponsorship of the up coming Paris Masters they have enlisted France no 1 Wilfred Jo Tsonga to play twitter tennis as part of his preparation. The clever bits are all spelled out on the site here which is a nicely built in the style of the moment – responsive design.
It’s a nice idea and one that I think we should be seeing a lot more of over the next year as people begin to tire of the same 1 dimensional social campaigns.
